Feuerhand 276 sturmkappe (enlarged tank)

Description Feuerhand 276 with storm cap (Sturmkappe) and a extra large fuel tank. These lamps were produced for usage in road construction and building sites. The tank has a maximum fuel capacity of 1,2 liter. This will lead to a burning time of up to 70 hours so that a full weekend standing can be ensured. To ensure enough capillary working when the fuel level is low and therefore fueling of the wick a extra support wick is installed parallel to the normal wick. Size: 32 x 13 cm. Weight: 0,70 Kg. Condition: Traces of rust under the paint, see detail picture. Wick can be moved up and down smoothly. Glass globe is intact. Note: To ensure enough capillary working when the fuel level is low and therefore fueling of the wick a extra support wick that is installed parallel to the normal wick can sometimes be found inside this type of lanterns. This particular one doesn’t have extra support wicks.
